Puzzle

I’m done with trying

To be anything other than me

As simple as it may be

I’m better than you

And your idiocies.

Here and now and all those lies

They can’t come true with idiocy

Left and right with batters tries

They won’t know with illiteracy

If they opened their eyes

Whipped the tears away

I was always right there

Despite everything

It was so simple

But we see it wasn’t

I can’t change it

I’m just a piece

To find it’s place

Damn it you don’t fit

I can’t  face it

I’m just a piece

Without a place

Damn it you don’t fit.

You said you’d love me

For better or worse but where are we

But enemies in our mind

I believed in you

And your fallacies

Once and Then with those tales

I can’t believe I fell for them then

It took three strikes but you’re out

I’m not the love fool I was back when

If we had really tried

Had something to say

I will always still care

Despite everything

I’d do it again

As it’s a part of me

I can’t change it

I’m just a piece

To find it’s place

Damn it you don’t fit

I can’t  face it

I’m just a piece

Without a place

Damn it you don’t fit.

That puzzle wasn’t right

I was misplaced

The wrong the box

The wrong scenery

Just a misplaced piece

That will never fit

Ever fit

With you

I can’t change it

I’m just a piece

To find it’s place

Damn it you don’t fit

I can’t  face it

I’m just a piece

Without a place

Damn it you don’t fit.
