To Take Me Higher

I don’t try to fall in love
I trip and stumble
Before I know it I’ve already fallen
I’m not here thanks to a shove
Yet I still crumble
Anytime someone tries to pull me in

There could be a million walls and boundaries
But something in me wants to break them all down
Every man gives me something in that moment in time
And I won’t deny myself an enrichment from an opportunity.

I’m looking for an experience to take me higher
No matter who has to be involved
I’m not focused on the quantity
Instead I’m focusing on the love
I’m looking for an experience to take me higher
Here’s hoping this will make me evolved
Not holding on to a fantasy
So I can just focus on the love

So what I’m selfish like that
They get something too
In love no one loses when it’s said and done
I’m not aiming for a stat
Someone else to do
So what if just for a moment we had our fun

This love could last a million infinities
But some of you want to just break it all down.
And all keep repeating the same old boring line
