You’re a CANCER

I try not to be jaded
By the experiences
Time has given me
But as I “enjoy” the solitude
Bitterness crosses my tongue

I could tell the world how you did me wrong
How you cheated, how you lied
How you left me destitute
I won’t call you by name
But I want to.

You were toxic, you’re a cancer
That left me changed forever
Living life with my new normal
You’re deceitful, you’re a cancer
Despite the pain I’m better
Living life with my new normal

It was you that I hated
For so long I was wrong
I hated your lie
Don’t hate the player just hate his games
Isn’t he part of the play?

You left me with your playbook of deceit
Manipulate, drive him mad
Convince him it’s in his head
The lies are all the same
It’s what you do.

You were toxic, you’re a cancer
That left me changed forever
Living life with my new normal
You’re deceitful, you’re a cancer
Despite the pain I’m better
Living life with my new normal

You gave me a mark on my body
That’s a reminder of your infidelity
No one knows the truth but you and I
Of how a cancer nearly ruined me

You were toxic, you’re a cancer
That left me changed forever
Living life with my new normal
You’re deceitful, you’re a cancer
Despite the pain I’m better
Living life with my new normal

If people only knew
Every thing I do.........
Sayonara.   Goodbye.
