Sitting here in the dark

Why am I playing this part?

Sitting here with my computer

And an empty bottle of Russian gasoline

My feelings roll over me like thunder

More intense with every thought

Would anyone miss me if I were gone

Or would time pass by and carry on

My thoughts become my own worst enemy

When I’m alone they need to be a friend

So this is loneliness

Still burn every thought that’s in my head

If your intention then was to hurt me

You don’t know how much you’ve won

I sit alone with my thoughts every night

They’re still there when I turn on the light

Nobody could ever say anything

That could take this feeling away from me
