Offensively Obtuse

A moment in time
You and I
Could have been together
I still don’t know why
That you ran
From claims of forever

You met all the marks
One two three
Then suddenly you flaked out on me
Now I’m here more bitter than before

I find you offensively obtuse
You’re ignorant to your standing
Annoying without even trying
I find you offensively obtuse
Coming, going without caring
Fooling me to believe you’re caring

What else could this be
But regret
What do you have to say
What is wrong with me
It’s nothing
To do with me these days

Yet I  hate you now
Every lie
Has Burned me against any faith in you now
I’m still dreaming of something more

I find you offensively obtuse
You’re ignorant to your standing
Annoying without even trying
I find you offensively obtuse
Coming, going without caring
Fooling me to believe you’re caring

Here you come again
Despite me and all for you
I’m not entertaining this
You’re unworthy of my time.

I find you offensively obtuse
You’re ignorant to your standing
Annoying without even trying
I find you offensively obtuse
Coming, going without caring
Fooling me to believe you’re caring
