Despite my spiteful Tendencies

Knowing the devil that’s inside  

Ying and Yang 

Good and bad

Purely and  tainted 

Lovely and retched

In the light I can understand 

But in the dark I’m combative 

I should be myself good or bad

Because that self is only true 

Up and down

Love and hate 

Perfect and jaded

The best and the worst

Hate is love that tastes bitter

Love is hate that we don’t want

Understanding love and hate
